Who to contact and how to get support at Sheffield Springs Academy regarding academic and pastoral issues

We realise it can be confusing and frustrating when you need to discuss an issue regarding your child but you’re not sure who to contact or how.
It is often impossible for members of staff to meet with, or speak to, parents or carers without any notice.  Our staff have very busy days.
The headteacher is very happy to work with parents/ carers when other key staff have already been consulted.
The below diagram shows the correct procedure for parents and carers to follow and gives details of who to contact regarding various issues that can occasionally occur in school.
It is never acceptable for parents or carers to be rude or abusive to staff at our academy and we will act quickly to deal with this, this could include a warning letter, a ban from attending the academy in person, or a ban from communicating in any way other than in writing.  Please work with us to support your child.
