Building a Space You'll Love to Learn

We are excited to announce that work will begin during Summer 2026 on a significant extension and redevelopment project designed to enhance the experience of students, families and visitors.

The project represents an important investment in the future of the academy and reflects our commitment to creating an environment where every student can thrive. Guided by our core values of Respect, Excellence, Ambition and Pride, the development will provide improved spaces that support learning, wellbeing and community connections.

As part of the plans, the academy will benefit from a newly rebuilt reception area, creating a more welcoming and accessible entrance for parents, carers and visitors. The redesigned space will make it easier for families to access the school and will include a larger waiting area, improving comfort and the overall visitor experience.

The project will also see the extension of our academy's canteen, allowing it to accommodate more students and providing additional space for students to eat, socialise and spend time together throughout the school day.

Work is scheduled to commence in August/September 2026, and every effort will be made to minimise disruption throughout the build. The education, wellbeing and daily experience of our students will remain our priority, with learning continuing as normal while the improvements take shape.
