Sheffield Hallam University Venture Matrix

The Sheffield Hallam University Venture Matrix is a pioneering and innovative learning and teaching enterprise environment that enables students to have a real yet supported experience of enterprise and entrepreneurship.  The Venture Matrix extends the concept of enterprise education beyond the familiar tools of ghost companies and virtual business simulation by enabling students to form their own businesses, social enterprises and other ventures, and to trade with each other in person in a safe, mentored environment.

Students from Sheffield Hallam University were paired with pupils from Sheffield Springs Academy to look at the aspects of Marketing and Advertising for the school's production of Fame.  The 6 x 1 hour sessions covered a variety of marketing and advertising skills as well as enhancing enterprise capabilities.

The pupils from Springs came up with some interesting ideas for posters, tickets, flyers and presentations which were successfully adopted.
