THE ACADEMY HAS A STRICT UNIFORM POLICY
An official Academy blazer An official Academy tie Black, low heeled full shoes (trainers, boots, and canvas shoes are not permitted) In bad weather a coat may be needed, outdoor coats should be a plain colour with no logos, emblems or other designs.  Sports tops, denim coats and leather coats are not permitted.  The coat must be longer than the blazer

GENERAL
Extreme hairstyles and colours, jewellery and make-up including nail varnish are not permitted in the Academy with the exception of one pair of small studs in each ear and a wrist watch. Facial jewellery is not permitted. Shirts must be worn tucked in with top buttons fastened and blazers on.

For Art, Design & Technology

An apron will be provided and must be worn at all times to protect the uniform and keep it clean.

 

Sixth Form
Sixth Form students, although not expected to wear the same uniform as students in yrs 7 to 11, will be required to dress to reflect the professional image of the Academy and as such, appropriate for visiting an employer's office. Hoods, caps, trainers, jeans and sweatshirts or t-shirts with large logos or branding will not be permitted.
