MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGE

Sheffield Springs Academy has an enthusiastic and thriving Modern Foreign Languages department. Languages are taught throughout the school in specialist and well resourced classrooms.

Key Stage 3

At KS3 we offer French and German. Our topics of study include personal information, family, leisure, home and environment, school and education, holidays and travel and tourism.

Key Stage 4

At KS4 students study either French or German. Students are entered for GCSE in their final year and they are assessed in four skill areas by both submitting coursework and studying for an external examination.
