ICT and Business Studies

The ICT & Business Studies Department at Sheffield Springs Academy is made up of 5 members of staff. The ICT suites are located on the first floor and have five teaching classrooms (one dedicated to the KS5 students) that are equipped with the most up to date computers and interactive whiteboard technology.

Throughout the department we use Active Expression software; this software allows the student to interactively participate in the lesson by answereing questions electronically.  This software also allows the teacher to assess the student throughout the term and see the progression the student is making.
