At Sheffield Springs Academy we aim to create a supportive learning environment which is safe, secure and stimulating, in which all people are valued as individuals, diversity is encouraged and accepted and people are treated with respect.
We realise that many students will have individual needs at some point throughout their educational journey, whether they be learning, emotional, social or behavioural. Our Pastoral Team work together to ensure that every student is able to access the education we offer and achieve their personal potential.
Bringing out the best in everyone by working in partnership with parents and carers
At Sheffield Springs Academy we recognise that the most important partnerships we establish are the ones with the parents and carers of our students.
We rely on the support of our parents to establish and maintain high standards of behaviour, attendance, punctuality and dress. We also believe that the academic performance of students is significantly improved when parents actively support the Academy in stimulating, encouraging and monitoring their child’s progress.
We are committed to keeping parents informed about their child’s progress and encourage parents to share any comments or concerns with us at the earliest opportunity by making an appointment to see a member of the Pastoral Team.
