Sheffield Springs Academy enters students for externally awarded exams and qualifications: GCSE, GCE at AS & A2 Levels, BTEC and Functional Skills. These may be sat in more than one year of the students’ academic career. Some subjects involve controlled assessments which are conducted and marked by the Academy with external moderation.
In addition, we have a programme of internal assessment and testing to monitor the progress and attainment of all students.
As part of our commitment to the community, we are also a registered centre to conduct written examinations for private/external candidates.
