Conduct of Exams

Students should attend school for registration as normal.
Morning Exams start promptly at 9:00 am and afternoon exams at 1:00pm.

Students will be briefed beforehand as to where to assemble/attend.

Students should always attend with their PPR ... Pen (black), Pencil and Ruler.
Any other materials required such as calculator etc. will be supplied.

Whilst phones and other electronic devices are already against Academy rules, it is emphasised that any student having such items on their person during an external examination risk forfeiting that (and possibly others) paper.

Students are allowed to bring in a clear, non-fizzy drink (water) in a clear bottle with no label. Students will be under “Exam Conditions” as soon as they enter the room/hall. There should be silence and no communication between students.
Students should follow instructions from the invigilators and be seated at their correct desk as listed on the seating plan.

It is Academy Policy that students shall not leave the room/hall until their examination is over.
Students should be aware of the Instructions issued by JCQ:
